Expansion Project
3,900 square foot addition and interior renovations. The addition
consisted of a first floor mechanical room approximately 600
square feet, a second floor addition of seven (7) LDRP suites
and a new overnight room. Interior renovations consisted of
the following areas: Special Care Nursery, Recovery, Reception,
Holding Nursery and Triage Testing.

West Renovation
Interior renovation of 8,400 square feet consisting of eight
(8) new single private patient rooms, six (6) new semiprivate
patient rooms, two (2) new SICU private rooms, new nurses
station, staff lounge and nourishment.

Harbor
Hospital Center has been a long term client of Shade Construction's.
Shade has serviced the hospital in everything from design
build and construction management projects to competitive
bid projects. The projects have varied in scope of work and
size: from a Chapel and Gift Shop to entire floor renovations,
a new state of the art emergency department and a waterfront
oncology expansion that oversees the Baltimore harbor. Shade
has even built several off site facilities including Helix
Health Park and Harbor Family Care which combined is in excess
of 75,000 square feet of doctor's offices and outpatient surgical
facilities.

Shade
Construction has finished numerous projects at this facility
over the years. These projects range in a variety of types
and sizes. The projects were either negotiated or awarded
through the competitive bid process. One of the most notable
jobs is the Post Partum Nursing Unit. This project consisted
of a total interior renovation of approximately 17,000 square
feet with twenty-four individual private patient rooms, three
semiprivate rooms, two isolation rooms and two-separate fifteen
(15) baby nurseries. The most recent jobs included Medical
Records, Stereotactic, Open MRI and the total renovation of
the main lobby.
